feelings... cicak on the ceiling...
Why do people get upset so easily? Why do I get upset? Especially towards people we claim we love. Then it makes me think, actually how much do I love them or vice versa when temper is what we show them most of the time. I don't feel loved when they throw their temper on me... I don't feel that important in their lives anymore. I believe they feel that too. I read one status the other day which goes "Your temper depends entirely on how much time you set aside to grow in God." So I guess I found the answer.
Recently, I always have the impulse to leave this place. And turn over a new leaf in a new environment. Maybe I thought if I leave, then probably I will be appreciated more. Sigh, but again, I think that's a very immature way of thinking. It's called running away... I wish I have learnt the skill of verbalizing my feelings, then the other party would know how I feel (which is the best solution of it all). If it continues on like this, I know where it leads - no where. Maybe it's mood swing that I am feeling this way... or maybe it isn't. Whatever it is, deep inside, I pray "give up" won't be in our dictionary.
I see people falling sick everyday; some gets better, some don't. For those who are almost at their end, I know whatever I'm going through is so tiny winy if I am placed in their shoes. I think all the above which I have thought and typed won't be in my mind at all if my end is here. I know if I face the end, all I want is to make sure my loved ones know I love them and that I want to see them again in heaven.. and I know that is very important in my life.
I had a patient who is quite sick but is blessed with a very good wife. He isn't a small sized person, so it takes a lot of hard work, perseverance and strength for his wife to help him. Well, she really held on to "till death do us apart". One morning, I made a remark to the doctor, "he has got a very good wife." Then the very nice doc looked at me and asked, "do you think you can be that?". Haha, I told him I asked myself that very same question too. Truly nursing doesn't only teach me about medicine or nursing skills but about courage, hope, life and about myself. And I'm learning everyday...
I have many wants this year.. While I was thinking about D-list, then I was reminded of Psalms 23.
Psalm 23
1The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
So dear Lord, I pray Psalms 23 for my life in this year 2012. Amen.

I also need to learn how to verbalise how I feel.
I also feel unloved when people lose their temper at me.
I never lose my temper. But that is not good because my anger is kept inside me.
You will see more comments in the future, hehe.
